Arts Practice
Statement
I seek to create sound for non-traditional media pairings. In doing so,
I tend to look for ways in which sound informs or alters the context of an expression to captivate my audience. Thus, collaboration continues to sharpen my interdisciplinary practice.
In my solo work, I explore autobiographical themes of masculinity as inheritance through Haitian Diasporic identity. Using relational ties I make use of spectral combinations of media from still to time-based, sculptural to architectural, interactive/reactive to autonomous, visual to auditory.
